Leaving for Outreach in 24 days! that's wild!

y'all. the Fall Discipleship School (DTS) has been running for 53 days now, and we leave for outreach in 24 days. this is wild, and I love staffing this school with all my heart. every one of my students are on such a beautiful journey and I'm so honored that I get to be apart of this moment of their lives.

in 24 days I leave on a 2-month outreach to Mexico where I will co-lead a team of 5 students! what the actual heck!

This is my team! From left to right it goes:
Alek, Leah, Sophie, Ethan, Me, Lauren, and Alec (my co-leader).

We are going to two different cities in Mexico. For the first 3 weeks, we will be in Puebla working with a YWAM couple there. We will be going on 3 different trips into indigenous/rural communities in the mountains to bring Bibles, and we will get to work with some churches while there as well. We also have the possibility of being able to go into nearby communities that may not have been reached with the gospel before.

We will spend Christmas in Puebla, and then towards the end of December, we will be going to Puerto Vallarta for the remainder of the trip. The second week in February we will come home for a week of debriefing and then the DTS will be complete!

While we are in Puerto Vallarta we will be working with a small YWAM team that's there. We will be able to do a lot of different things such as street and beach ministry and hanging out with people to build connections. We also will be able to preach in different churches and potentially do some prison ministry.

I'm so excited to lead these students on this outreach, they are so ready to bring the gospel and to love on people. The excitement has been building since the teams were formed, and now that we're a little over 3 weeks away from leaving, the excitement level is so dang high.

they all had to get into this tiny tent at the end of a team-building task

Okay, so practically. In order for me to be able to go on this outreach, I'm going to have to raise about $1,400 for things such as airfare, rent, bills, a travel/hiking backpack, and then ministry while in Mexico. I have 3 weeks to raise this money, which seems really daunting. But, if you have been following along my journey since my own DTS last summer, you know that God has provided in wild ways and He is going to do it again.

I would be so honored if you help get me to Mexico. God is going to do so many big things through my team, and I'm so excited and honored to be able to co-lead them. Each of my students are so precious to me and I know God is going to use them powerfully in these two months, and the fact that I get to be apart of this just blows me away. I've been dreaming about doing this since my own DTS and it's so surreal and incredible that I'm here getting ready to lead an outreach!

I will attach the link to the YWAM Salem giving page, where it's super easy and safe to help support me. I will also attach my paypal and my mailing address, so there are a few different ways to help me go on this outreach. God is good, and like I have said before, my faith and trust is in Him alone!
